Bureau Null ("we", "us") provides website design, development, search optimisation and web application security testing. The written quote and signed agreement — not this website, not the calculator — define final scope, deliverables, timeline and price. Anything not listed in the quote is out of scope.
Our services are directed at businesses. You confirm you act for business purposes; company name and CRO/VAT number are captured in every quote. You expressly request that work begin within 14 days of signature and acknowledge the statutory withdrawal right is lost upon full performance.
All quotes are fixed-price and valid for 14 days. The calculator on this site provides estimates; a written quote confirms the final figure before any work begins.
Each package includes the stated number of revision rounds. Additional rounds are quoted in advance — never invoiced without approval. Deliverables are deemed accepted if no written objections are raised within 14 days of delivery.
IP transfers on receipt of full payment — not before. Until then, all work remains our property and may not be used, published or modified. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise in writing. Third-party assets (fonts, libraries) remain under their own licences.
Search engines and their algorithms are third parties outside our control. We commit to best-practice implementation and documented methodology; we do not warrant specific ranking positions, traffic volumes or revenue outcomes.
A security audit reports the vulnerabilities found within scope and time. It reduces risk; it is not a guarantee that no vulnerability exists or will ever exist. New vulnerabilities are published daily.
Our total aggregate liability for any and all claims arising from a project is limited to the fees actually paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, goodwill or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We may decline or terminate any engagement — without stating reasons — where we suspect fraud, unlawful intent, or abusive conduct. In that case only undisputed, completed work is invoiced.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

50% deposit to reserve your build slot and begin work. 50% on delivery, before final handover or go-live. Work never starts before the deposit clears.
Direct bank transfer (SEPA) is our standard method. Cash settlement on delivery is available by prior written arrangement. Cash is accepted up to €9,999 (aggregate); amounts above are settled by bank transfer (anti-money-laundering regulations). Every payment — whatever the method — is invoiced, receipted and declared. Prices are in EUR; VAT at 23% is added where applicable.
Invoices unpaid after 14 days accrue 2% per month interest plus reasonable recovery costs. Persistent non-payment may result in site suspension after written notice, and IP does not transfer until payment is complete.
We keep signed agreements, delivery records, preview logs and correspondence. If you dispute a payment, contest it in writing with reference to the signed delivery records; we recover only documented actual costs of collection. Chargebacks carry a €250 administrative fee plus documented legal and recovery costs. Suspected fraud is reported to the relevant authorities.
Monthly plans bill in advance, cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No refunds for partial months already started.

Full refund of your deposit minus a €50 administration fee — no questions asked — any time before work begins.
If you cancel mid-project, you pay pro-rata for completed deliverables (designs, code, content, research) at the quoted project rate. The remainder is refunded within 14 days.
Delivered and approved work — including work deemed accepted under the 14-day rule in our Terms — is not refundable. Every package instead includes a support window (30–90 days depending on tier) during which we fix bugs free of charge.
If we cannot complete your project for reasons on our side, you receive a 100% refund of everything paid — including the deposit.
The deposit reserves a build slot we decline other work for. Once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable except where we cancel the project ourselves.
Refund requests must be made in writing to hello@bureaunull.com and are answered within 5 working days. This policy does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The data controller is Bureau Null, Ireland — full legal name, registered address, CRO and VAT numbers are stated on every quote and invoice, and provided on request.
Only what you give us directly: your name, email and project details when you contact us or request a quote. We set no cookies and run no trackers.
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver projects and invoice. Nothing else. We never sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing.
Our email provider processes correspondence on our behalf. There are no other third parties. No data leaves the EU/EEA beyond email delivery itself.
Project correspondence is kept for up to 6 years for tax and legal compliance (Irish Revenue requirements), then deleted.
